Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Mon-Sat – 5 out of 7 days worked – 8 hour shifts – 38-43k – Double Days

We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer who is capable of working both electrically and mechanically within our food production environment. We are looking for a permanent engineer to join the established team at our automated facility. The successful multi skilled maintenance engineer can have either a slight mechanical or electrical bias but must be confident across both disciplines.

The successful engineer will have experience with PPM, breakdowns and ideally experience within food/FMCG businesses or similar. The role will involve some weekend work, so you must be comfortable with this, there is also overtime available within this role.

The successful candidate will be able to work with electrical components such as, sensors, invertors, motors, be comfortable with single and three phase and any understanding of PLC's (fault finding, reading inputs and outputs) would be great. We are looking for someone from a manufacturing/production background, preferably a background within a pressured, time sensitive environment.

The educational underpinning would need to be engineering qualifications such as NVQ/City & Guilds etc, also 18th/17th edition would be great, but this is not essential.
