About The Role

As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently planning and delivering logistics and support functions to enable construction across the Calvert section.
You will provide guidance and management on all matters relating to logistics including, but not limited to:
Materials and equipment expediting, delivery, receipt, storage, management, tracking and issue to site.
Site infrastructure operation and management, including the off-site Logistics Consolidation Centre.
Vehicle movement management, including access control and on-site management, and EKFB vehicle fleet operations, including maintenance and management.
Support Logistics, including accommodation, welfare, fuel, and catering. You will need to develop logistics plans and submissions (including Construction Logistic Plans and their revisions) in accordance with the Works Information and all other information provided by HS2 and other stakeholders.
We need you to implement, maintain and develop policies and processes to ensure the Logistics and Security team is safe, effective and efficient whilst concurrently educating staff with industry concepts, practices and procedures.
About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:
You must have experience in one (or more) of the following –
Construction logistics
Manufacturing logistics
FMCC logistics
Public Service logistics
You will also have experience in management and reporting of personnel, fleet operations and high tempo environments
You will desirably have experience in:
Overseeing contract delivery
Logistics IT systems
