Logistics Controller 

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000

Rota: Monday – Friday – DAYS
 
My client, a large engineering company, is looking for an experienced Logistic Coordinator to join their Production Team in Milton Keynes for production of Access Platforms.
 
As a Logistic Coordinator, your duties will include:

The coordination of all transport activities
Planning and processing all orders
Full adherence / compliance with departmental and ISO 45001 procedures, and total quality focus throughout all direct / indirect stages of the stores process.
Stock takes and cycle checks to be performed in line with company procedures. 
Call/email contacts via portals to arrange/confirm delivery ensuring cost-effective route planning workloadsWhat we are looking for in our ideal Logistic Coordinator:

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels with ease. You will keep others informed of issues in a timely manner and ask questions to ascertain required information
You will be a logical thinker and good problem solver
You will be highly organised, being able to organise and prioritise your workload
