Lead Commissioning Engineer
Salary – £55,000 to £60,000 + competitive benefits package
Location – UK Wide
Start date – February 2021

Our Client is a leading EPC in the renewable energy field and Power Generation sector, who are consistently bidding and gaining new projects in the Energy from Waste sector in the UK.
Currently they have a requirement for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to work within a team Engineers and Technicians across multiple projects in the UK. The first project is based in Milton Keynes.
As Lead Commissioning Engineer, you will bring demonstrable commissioning experience and practical skills to the commissioning team. Working closely with the Commissioning team, you will be responsible for planning, executing and documenting of commissioning and handover activities on the project and programme of works in a safe manner, fully in accordance with company processes, systems, procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities include:

Working in collaboration with the construction team, ensuring that commissioning activities are planned safely and to required quality standards and specifications
Providing appropriate support throughout the commissioning phase of the project
Updating of commissioning documentation including site reports and assisting with O&M manuals
Carrying out and recording of all commissioning tests
Liaising with onsite subcontractors where necessary
Reporting to the Project Director and updating relevant personnel on site progress
Adhered to health and safety regulations and reporting any incidents appropriately.
Requirements:

Commissioning experience gained within Energy from Waste, Biomass, and Gasification projects.
Proven track record in a similar role and ability to communicate well at all levels
Ability to work well independently and as well as part of a team
