The Shorterm Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Land Surveyor to support a client's operation near Milton Keynes.
The role
The successful Land Surveyor will be responsible to plan and execute a variety of different sized projects and mange timescales. A thorough understanding of both Health and Safety and QA is required to allow you to work methodically. You must also use your initiative to problem solve and liaise with clients when required.
Land Surveyors are required to communication with colleagues and clients in a professional manner as well as brief other members of the survey team. You will also need to possess the ability to recognise and assess problems that are within your ability or that require them to be referred to more senior member of staff. The ability to plan and execute small to medium sized surveys involving several survey teams is also essential.
Your background
The successful Land Surveyor will need to possess / demonstrate the following;
*HND / technical degree in surveying or a related discipline
*Proven experience within a similar role
*Proficient in the use of Trimble / Leica Total stations and GPS
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Good AutoCAD and LSS, SCC surveying software skills and able to produce 2D and 3D models.
*Full UK driving licence
