This is a high-precision, low volume manufacturing environment. They bucked the trend in 2020 with record orders and growth, which has continued through 2021. Recognised as one of the most innovative and technically advanced manufacturers globally, they are now looking to add to their team with a junior Manufacturing Engineer.

The Role: Junior Manufacturing Engineer

Overall, the role is to support production and improve their processes and procedures. You will be working closely with the Production Director to set up their new ERP system. You will also work closely with others to learn what they do, how they do it and document this to create standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include:

* Collecting data and information, recording and interpreting along the way.

* Creating BoMs and work instructions.

* Assisting purchasing with scheduling and planning.

* Stock control and document control.

* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

The Candidate: Junior Manufacturing Engineer

The successful candidate will be organised, logical and comfortable using spreadsheet and different computer systems. You will also have previous experience in a manufacturing environment OR an engineering/manufacturing qualification.

To be commutable to the office you could live in or near one of the following locations: Woburn, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Newport Pagnell, Olney, Bedford, Northampton, Aylesbury
