Junior / Intermediate Electrical Services Engineer

Our client is an established firm of Building Services consulting engineers delivering more than 3,500 successful projects for Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health and Environmental engineering solutions in four decades now.
They're currently looking to hire someone who is organised, self-motivated, personable and professional engineers to work with them and be part of their huge team.
Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team
*
Electrical services design including but not limited to LV design including cable sizing, Lighting and lighting controls, Emergency lighting, Fire alarms, Security systems, Lightning protection
*
Preparation and development of concept, feasibility and detailed design proposals, which include specifications, drawings, calculations
*
Ability to use DIALux lighting and Amtech electrical software
*
Fully proficient in AutoCAD 2D with either some knowledge of the use of Revit or the desire to learn
*
MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
*
Good communication skills required and be able to accompany colleagues to meetings with clients, other professional design team members and contractors
*
Strong technical expertise within electrical building services design, gained working within the UK building services industry for either a consultancy or contractor
*
Knowledge of UK design legislation and guidance
Qualifications/Experience required:
*
Must have a minimum 5 years’ Electrical services design experience in the UK (less if a junior engineer)
*
DIALux and Amtech software knowledge
*
Minimum HNC/HND level in building services or electrical engineering or degree equivalent (Minimum of 5 GCSE grades A-C if Junior engineer)
*
Full UK drivers' licence
*
Should be in UK based
