The Role:
O365 administration, including mailbox and support of email systems
Based from the office in Milton Keynes
Advocating and promoting O365 within the business
Networking of printers and data network shares
To provide specialist desktop application support
Providing 2nd/3rd level support by diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems that cannot be resolved by 1st line support, and coaching where necessary
Administration of local licence servers and software licensing
Participate in local projects and European IT projects, acting as technical or IT lead where required
To document and maintain IT procedures and user instructions.
£30k-£35k, (6 Month Contract) company pension, private medical, free on-site parking.
The Ideal Person:
Strong technical expertise in O365 applications, including Azure, Exchange and Teams, with experience in deployments and keeping current on latest O365 functions and features
Experience in supporting Windows, Server, MS Office environments
TCP/IP including basic switch configuration, network patching, understanding of VLANs, routing and troubleshooting, wireless networking
Active directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
Experience of software deployment tools, preferably Intune
Competent in planning tasks and activities for small projects, flexibility to work on more than one small project at a time
Be able to take ownership of a task or project to see it through to completion
Able to meet challenging deadlines
Comfortable dealing with users and stakeholders at all levels
Minimum of 8 years 2nd/3rd Line IT Support within a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation
Experience of working with Citrix or Thin Client technologies would be advantageous
A desire to be part of an overall team and achieve team goals
Drive, energy and initiative is paramount
7.5 hrs per day, covering hours 9:00 – 17:30 – Flexibility on occasion to work extra hours to meet deadlines
