Worldwide industrial technical components manufacturing company are recruiting an Internal Sales Executive / Customer Service Representative as part of rapid growth of their online sales operation.
BASIC SALARY: £25,000 – £30,000
BENEFITS:
· Bonus – Commission Year Two Onwards, up to £7,500
· Pension Scheme – company matched contribution up to 5%

· 25 days holidays plus stats
· Working hours : 8- 4.15 Monday-Thursday, 8-1.45 Fridays.
LOCATION: Northampton
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Wellingborough, Kettering, Daventry, Corby, Towcester, Milton Keynes, Rugby, Rushden.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Internal Technical Sales, Customer Service Representative, Internal Sales Executive – Components to OEMs
· This is an expansion role which has come about as a result of the success of the online and digital marketing activity driving online and phoned / called in activity.
· It involves responding to wide range of online and phone enquiries from large and small specialist OEMs usually dealing with design engineers but also up to manager and Managing Director level, (industrial) design companies, wholesalers and distributors, and anyone else using or thinking of using my client's products from "fred in the shed" and the general public.
· It will involve giving technical advice guiding the customer to the right potential solution and very often closing the sale and taking an order.
· You will liaise closely with external sales if the enquiry looks substantial enough or has potential to grow into something bigger, for example an enquiry from a technical / design person at a large OEM.
· A sample average would involve 40 enquiries which could come from anywhere in the world.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Internal Technical Sales, Customer Service Representative, Internal Sales Executive – Components to OEMs
· To be considered for this interesting and varied role you will ideally have experience in an internal sales or customer support or customer service role involving gathering and interpreting customer information and requirements, preferably in a technical or engineering environment or with the ability to take on and retain technical information.
· Any foreign language skills would be very desirable eg, French, Spanish, German or Italian.
· Experience of e-commerce platforms would be beneficial.
· You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail as well as organisational / time management and collaboration and problem solving skills.
