Internal Quality Assurance Manager

£388/day Ltd – £450/day umbrella in scope of IR35

3 Months initial contract
Based Remotely – working from home

Our client is a well established Nationwide Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success.

Our client is looking for a strong Quality Assurance Manager to assist in organizing and managing around 800 frontline operational employees using the Oracle Competence Management System

What you will need:

Essentia

* Computer literate and Strong user of Excel

* Oracle experience is advantageous (training is available)

* Looking and assessing at briefing schedules

* Good with Data and processes

* Ability to provide feedback accurately on what they have found – be supportive in this / constructive feedback (Come back with solutions as opposed to just problems)

* Confident communicator over phone and email

* Assessing and Verifying Qualifications

* EQA (External quality assessment) – an advantage

* Rail experience would be advantageous especially in operations but not necessary

The role:

* Likely to get involved in the development of new standards that will go forward in this new era (remote etc)

* Deliver to national standards / bets practice

* Monitor so that specific projects undertaken by the programme are managed according to the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and all relevant Company Standards and Standard Project Procedures.

* Audit the implementation of the procedures and standards required to achieve a cost effective and safe engineering approach on all projects and renewal/maintenance schemes.

* Provide an independent audit role to the Digital Rail programme on quality matters and arranging for inspections as required.

* Act as lead auditor for programme when required.
