My client is currently looking for an installations engineer to join their Head Office in Milton Keynes.

The ideal candidate will have a diverse skillset & technical ability. A professional demeanour is a must as you will be liaising with the end customer & representing the company, the brands my Client works with are varied – one day you could be in an Airport, the next in a shopping centre. This role will include travel across the UK and ah-hoc travel through Europe, so a clean driving license & valid passport are essential for this role.

The role:

Installation, servicing & repair of mechanical & electrical EPOS & queue management systems.
Liaising & dealing with customers including site managers & store managers.
Looking after all tools & your van. Both fully expensed by the company.
National travel across the UK & occasionally across Europe.

Key Skills & Qualities:

Valid CSCS Card essential.
Valid IPAF Powered Access License.
Experience of working with hand & power tools is essential.
Experience working in a shop fitting environment or similar.
A good understanding of site layouts & drawings is essential.
A basic understanding of Electrical & Mechanical systems & fittings.
Problem solving skills & a keen eye for detail
Flexible, able to work outside normal hours with overtime rates
