A leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of specialist ventilation equipment for the Academic, Forensic and Industrial sectors is now seeking an Installation and Service Engineer to support their continued growth.
Working in the North West, Midlands, primarily Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and repairing of fume cabinets / laminar flow cabinets.
You will also be installing ductwork (PVC/Polypropylene) and provide post-installation training for customers and perform on-site risk assessments.
Initially working alongside an experienced Engineer, once trained you will work mainly on your own, and with other colleagues as required.
Working within the North West, Midlands area, the aim is for you to return home most evenings, but from time to time there may be a requirement for you to stay overnight.

Qualifications:
As the successful Installation and Service Engineer you should hold at least an NVQ in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or similar.
A recognised Electrical qualification such as 16th/17th/18th Edition Electrical is preferred, though not essential.
Experience:
Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar environment and/or experience servicing and installing medical devices, lab equipment or air conditioning units.
To succeed in this role you will have gained experience installing new equipment such as PVC/Polypropylene Ducting and welding.
Experience with filtration fume cupboards or HVAC systems is desirable, however product training will be provided.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST have a Full driving licence and be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
Candidates MUST hold a full clean driving licence and be able to pass Enhanced DBS & Police Authority Checks.
