HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Location: Buckingham

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Overtime: Paid At An Increased Rate – Time + Half & Double Time

Rota: Monday – Friday DAYS

My client, a large commercial vehicle company, is looking for a qualified and experienced HGV technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join their workshop fitter team. The HGV technician / HGV Mechanic /HGV Fitter will be based out of the depot in the Buckingham area.

The HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter will be working on a range of commercial vehicles – municipal vehicles, road sweepers and machinery.

The main responsibilities of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter will include;
Routine maintenance of Commercial vehicles and machinery
Routine Servicing & Repairs as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose
Inspections 
Fault Finding

The successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter will have;
A professionally recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
Experience with Municipal / Plant / Commerical vehicles within the last 2 years
Class 2 Driving Licence
A full UK Driving licence
