HGV ENGINEER ROLE AVAILABLE WITH MARKET LEADING WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING COMPANY

TITLE: HGV Engineer – Waste Management & Recycling

CLIENT: My client is a well – recognised name within the Waste Management and Recycling company. They are now looking for an experienced HGV Engineer to join in their team.

Package: Up to £44,000, pension

Location: Milton Keynes

ROLE: HGV Engineer – Waste Management & Recycling

You will be carrying out reactive repairs and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
In this role, you will ensure that all company Health and Safety policies are adhered to.
You will work to deadlines as set out for repairs in a timely manner.
Preparing their fleet of HGV's for MOT and regular inspections
You will carry out fault finding inspections on equipment and provide diagnosis’ for issues found. Major repairs are covered under contract
You will also have involvement with inspections of the plant and carry out safety checks on a regular basis.
Reduce downtime by ensuring that the necessary tools, materials and parts for production are accessible.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: HGV Engineer– Waste Management & Recycling

Excellent working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics'.
For this position, you will hold a City and Guilds / NVQ technical qualification or related. Time- served candidates will also be considered. You can come from ANY heavy industry background, provided you have a knowledge of carrying out mechanical maintenance on plant equipment and HGV's
You will have ideally gained experience working within the Waste Management and Recycling sector.
Experience working within a processing, manufacturing or related environment
