An excellent new technology site in the Milton Keynes area is seeking to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Technician on a twelve month fixed term basis.

The HSE Technician role:

–          You will implement and sustain a positive health, safety and environmental culture through the application of the management systems.

–          Establish the short term and long-term strategic plan for the site to foster continual health, safety and environmental Improvement

–          Leading programs, policies and assessments and monitoring performance to ensure compliance with internal requirements, applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and industry standards.

–          Leads hazard identification, environmental aspect identification and risk assessment programs to identify strategic risk improvement opportunities and gaps in health, safety and environmental compliance obligations.

–          Develops and maintains support content ensuring it is up to date, controlled and available while adhering to data privacy regulations. Interfaces with external regulatory bodies as required with the support of the legal department.

The Successful Health Safety & Environmental Technician:
 
–          Qualified within Health, Safety and/or Environmental, degree preferred and ideally Progress toward Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH or similar.

–          Previous experience in management of health, safety and environmental ISO Standards required.

–          3-5 years of experience required within a similar role within manufacturing.  

–           Any involvement within the HSE of a Battery manufacturing site or similar would be highly advantageous due to the complexity of managing lithium-based products.

Rates –

Umbrella Gross rate –             £41.30

PAYE Rate –                           £31.00
