Mission of C/TXR-GB-F is to:

· Advise the UK business and generate plans to mitigate the risks and take opportunities from Brexit and other legislative change

· Ensure the business is constantly compliant with all HMRC processes and any changes to legislation are implemented throughout the business

· Provide Customs expertise and perform governance function for UK operations

C/TXR-GB-F is a central, strategic, supporting and governing function for activities of UK entities:

· Customs Import and Export

· Supply Chain Security

· Origin of Goods & Preferences

· Export Control

C/TXR-GB-F shall be:

· Single Window in UK for GB, RG, C/TXR-EU-F, C/TXF, GS/OSD4

· Single contact to HMRC and other regulatory bodies

C/TXR-GB-F shall be responsible for:

1. Consulting and support of Bosch entities in UK and GS/OSD4, GB, RG

· Provide legal expertise for Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Production planning, Purchasing, Business Modelling, Sales, Marketing, Finance at Bosch entities in UK

· Provide legal expertise and consulting for GB, RG, C with regard to all Foreign Trade issues related to UK

2. Identification and management of risks

· Audit Management – setting up audit team and roles, conducting lessons learned process

· Develop and initiate implementation of Internal Controls for sensitive operations at Bosch entities

3. Ensuring Compliance

· Monitoring of legal environment in UK

· Implementation of legal regulations at Bosch entities

· Prepare binding rules for sensitive topics like customs valuation, customs procedures, export control, etc. within regional governance function

· Work towards and obtain Authorised Economic Operator status where requested

· Ensure that all Duty related work complies with the overarching Group Tax Policy as monitored by C/TXR-GB

4. Leadership

· Represent Bosch at relevant trade body forums to remain up to date on requirements and opportunities

· Hold regular meeting on potential risks and controls with GS/OSD4 responsible UK

· Hold regular meetings across all internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and communicated targets

· Influence all stakeholders to deliver operational requirements and support Supply chain continuous improvement
