About The Role
EKFB are looking to recruit a Head of Design Consents. You'll be working with senior management team resolve coordination issues and obtain relevant consents to achieve IFC drawings and start with the works on Site in a timely manner.
We expect you to lead, guide and oversee the Designer (ASC) on the preparation of documentation in respect to applying, negotiating and obtaining the various consents that are required, including Environmental consents, Highway consents and utility coordination and consents.
You must be embedded in the Technical Function, to proactively liaise across EKFB JV in order to effectively prepare the proper handling of the discussions with 3rd parties and HS2 in respect of these consents, in particular with Interface & Stakeholder team and with Environmental team.
You will closely coordinate with the Design Delivery Team, Temporary Works design team and Optimisation team in order to effectively and timely manage the interrelation between the consenting activities in the design and the delivery process and design schedule to achieve IFC drawings. Capturing and help managing risk and change derived from consenting process.
We'd like you to work in conjunction with the Planning teams and Design Delivery teams in order to define and follow a design schedule comprising the highways/utilities/environment design consent activities and procedures, and regularly reporting the progress on those, both for internal and external stakeholders. To contribute to define and maintain up-to-date the consent register.

Large-scale project management, in particular in highways, utilities, planning and environmental consents
Focus on the management for a timely delivery, management of commercial aspects related to the design consenting process
