A global printing business are looking for Group Print Engineer to work at their site near Aylesbury and across their sites globally.

The main function of this opportunity will be to oversee the installation, commissioning, removal and re-build of a range of industrial printing presses and associated automated print equipment. This is a varied “hands on” mechanical engineering position that also includes liaising with OEMs and contractors, generating SOPs and best practice and providing remote engineering support to internal customers.

This position involves up to 50% UK and Global travel as part of a small team. Travel is pre-planned well in advance and can involve being away for 3-6 weeks at any one time. The rest of the time the role is spent on site involved in in project work and machine build/assembly.

To be considered for this position you will need to hold a formal mechanical engineering qualification (ie HNC, C&G, apprenticeship) and have gained either service or maintenance experience within the print industry. Experience of print machine assembly, commissioning and/or installation is also desirable. This position is ideally suited to either someone who has been a Maintenance Engineer in the print industry or who has been a Service Engineer/Commissioning Engineer for a print equipment OEM.
