This is an excellent chance for an engineer with experience working on generators to join a leading supplier of generator equipment offering brilliant training courses, overtime, and company package.

This expanding market leader operate several sites across the UK where they supply a range of generators to hospitals, data centres, police, M.O.D sites and more. Due to continual growth they are seeking a Generator Engineer to join the company.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Generator Engineer:

* Carry out preventative maintenance in the field on a variety of diesel generators

* Experience in load testing and load banking of all generators

* Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults including control systems

* Qualified in wiring control panels and ATS panels, such as, Deep Sea Electronics

* Generate detailed reports for repairs completed and further works required using Protean software

* Be prepared to discuss with customers any servicing or fault queries

* Work with full adherence to the company and customer Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies

* Professional communication internally and externally

Skills and Qualifications for a Generator Engineer:

* Applicant must have several years experience in all types of generator repairs, maintenance, and electrical control panels. Both with new and used sets with sizes up to 2,000kV

* 18th Electrical installations BS7671 certified

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong analytical and fault-finding skills

* A team player with a can-do attitude

Package Available for Successful Candidate:

* Salary range of £27,000 – £34,000

* 24 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

* On call

* Company pension

* 40 hour working week
