Gas Service Engineer

An established, family-run plumbing and heating company in Milton Keynes has exciting plans to expands its specialist engineering teams, by appointing a Gas Service Engineer in preparation for the busy upcoming winter. As a Gas Service Engineer, you will be working on a range of boilers in customers’ homes with a team of Gas Engineers to diagnose faulty components to crack down on the problem with a high first-time fix rate.

The responsibilities of a Gas Service Engineer will include:

* Joining an experienced team of Mobile Engineers in a local area to provide outstanding customer service.

* Working on a variety of gas boilers ranging from Worcester to Baxi for some of the UK’s biggest insurers.

* Electrically testing and diagnosing faulty gas boilers.

* Reporting directly into the Gas Service Supervisor, you will be liaising with customers’ closely to create permanent connections across your region.

Requirements

* You will ideally have 5 + years’ experience in the Gas Engineering sector as either a gas, heating, plumbing, or combustion engineer.

* Current, valid ACS gas tickets.

* A full, clean UK driver’s license.

What this is offering

* A salary up to £38,000 based on experience.

* Standard working hours of 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.
