C&A Executives have an exciting opportunity for a Gas Engineer, you will have the chance to work for one of the UK’s fastest growing businesses. As the company grows you will grow with it!

My client, a family run business who are located in Buckinghamshire require an experienced Gas Engineer to carry out servicing, fault findings and breakdowns to domestic based boilers, this will be carried out in private dwellings. On the odd occasion you may be required to carry out installations such as combi swaps and conversions.

Key details:

* All round Gas Engineer (servicing, fault findings, breakdowns & installations)

* Buckinghamshire

* Private housing contract

* Permanent

* £37.5k – £40k per annum (based on experience), once you’ve you’ve completed your probationary period you will receive an increase in salary

* £2k signing on bonus, this is split into two payments. £1k in your first payroll and £1k upon you completing a years service

* Career progression

* Monday to Friday, overtime available

* Fully stocked van, fuel card

* Full uniform and power tools provided, you will require your own hand tools

* 28 days annual leave per annum

* Company funded training

Requirements for this position:

* CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1

* Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Strong customer focus with the ability to deal with complaints

* At least 3 years industry experience undertaking servicing, fault findings, repairs & installations

* Electrical knowledge is essential, wring up combination, s-plan & y-plan system

* Experience working with members of the public, with an ability to deal with Customers effectively

* Able to approach and resolve problems logically

Desirable – It would also be great if you had experience with:

* Manual Handling

* Asbestos awareness

* Working at heights

* Experience of working in an FCA Regulated environment

* Manufacturer’s product training

* Servicing and repair work of gas fired appliances and heating systems

* Fault finding and diagnostics qualifications.
