They are seeking Field Service Technicians to support commission, installation, and ongoing maintenance of machines the in the wider in the wider Milton Keynes region.
Salary: £ 30,000 – £ 36,000 p.a. + Company Vehicle + Private Health + Pension

The Role
The Field Service Engineer will work out in the field at customer sites, supporting both new equipment orders and existing contracts. The key responsibilities include delivering high quality service, installations, problem diagnosis and preventative maintenance.
The Field Service Engineer will act as a trusted guide to the customer, give accurate and honest assessments on the equipment and feeding back updates to the main service centre. You will support the delivery and installation of new machines and on very occasional instances, overnight travel may be needed.
The Field Service Engineer will play a pro-active role in advising on servicing plans, spare part availability and maintenance scheduling, to help ensure the customer gets the maximum period of availability from their press brake and laser cutting machinery from Bystronic.
The Person
The Field Service Engineer will possess a driving licence, be comfortable to operate in the field within a regional basis of home, and possess a recognised experience set in servicing, commissioning, maintenance, and installation of machinery.
A recognised engineering qualification, ideally an apprenticeship or similar is welcomed for the role, in addition to the ability to fault-find to root cause level using visual display outputs. The Field Service Engineer may draw on experience working on PLC systems, CNC Machines and/or press brake and laser cutting machinery itself.
The Field Service Engineer will possess a positive and supportive approach to customer engagement and be able to build relationships for future business. You will have a safety-first ethos and be able to demonstrate this clearly in your work.
