Field Service Generator Engineer

£28,000 – £30,000 (£45,000 OTE) + Training + Progression + Overtime + Other Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the best and dynamic companies within the Power Generation sector.

Required is a multi-skilled engineer with experience in diesel generators to work alone and as part of a team. Work will include installation, commissioning, repair and service of a wide range of generators and manufactures at customer sites.

They are looking for a strong multi skilled engineers to join the well-established workshop team. Full company and manufacture training are provided.

This role comes with progression opportunities by getting involved in large projects and the company can put engineers through mechanical or electrical qualifications to increase their skillst.

Role & Responsibilities:

*Carry out planned service and maintenance of customer's generators.
*Lease with external departments and customers.
*Service, fault find and carry out breakdown repairs.
*Carry our site surveys when required.
*Comply with companies Health and Safety policy
*Attending customer sites and getting involved in large projects
*Covering a regional patch

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*Must have a strong customer focus.
*Experience with mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel fitting
*Some form of an engineering qualification
*Diesel generator experience preferred

Benefits Package:

*Salary 28k – 30k
*On top earnings £40,000 – £45,000
*Door to door travel
*Overtime available
