Job Details
Due to expansion, our client are looking for an experienced engineer to join the team in a field service position. They are a well-established company within the compressed air industry with a strong emphasis training and developing their engineers. This is an exciting and varied role where you will cover the installation, service, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
Role and Responsibilities :
* Visiting customer sites to undertake service and maintenance of industrial equipment
* Reacting to breakdowns, identifying and rectifying faults
* Representing the company well and giving the best service possible to customers.
* Identify opportunities for equipment sales or upgrades
Knowledge and Experience:
* Previous experience in an engineering position
* Knowledge of air compressors, air dryers, air filters, air receivers, pipework, pumps, vacuum pumps, fans, motors, gearboxes, and nitrogen generators will be desired, but not essential
* Ability to work alone as well as being part of a close knit team
* Customer focused
* Flexibility to travel outside of the local area when required
Package and Benefits:
* Basic salary £25,000-£30,000
* Plenty of overtime available at x1.5 and x2
