Field Service Engineer

Milton Keynes based – operational area East Anglia/Cambridgeshire/Lincs

Salary: Very Competitive Depending on Experience. 

The Company: 

Our client is a specialist single source solution company for diesel generator hire, sales, service and repair.

The Role: 

The role is for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support our Service Department in the service and maintenance of customer’s generators.

Role responsibilities:

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance work on customer’s equipment, carry out site surveys requests complying with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

Possess a relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Diesel Fitting or an approved apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
Holder of ECS/CSCS Card preferred
Proven experience servicing and repairing generator sets predominantly FG Wilson, Cummings etc.
Full driving licence (with towing categories preferable)
Possess sound fault finding abilities
Experience working in a Field Service environment.
Full understanding of the English Language both spoken and written
Computer skills
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
