We are interested in receiving applications from Field Service Engineers with electronic or pneumatic backgrounds in medical devices / equipment. You will be educated to either OND / ONC or HND / HNC levels, coupled with strong customer-facing skills and a tangible track record.
BASIC SALARY: £38,000 – £42,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer – Medical Devices / Equipment
This is a home and field-based Field Service Engineer role, with extensive territorial coverage and occasional meetings at our UK HQ.
Working independently but as part of a close team, your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Complete accountability for installation, servicing and supporting our brand portfolio of Medical Electronic products.
· A customer-facing role where duties are performed mostly on customer hospital sites and occasionally at our central headquarters.
· Meeting a variety of customer types, from clinicians through to engineers.
· You will discuss pricing, service contracts and search out any opportunities for sales leads to be passed on internally.
· Managing your own call-outs, procedures, and routine maintenance.
· Flexibility and adaptability to provide total customer satisfaction whilst helping maintain our steep growth trajectory.
· Developing your territory long-term to become more strategic and less fire-fighting or reactive.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer – Medical Devices / Equipment
· Educated to HND / HNC level in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, coupled with strong customer-facing skills and a tangible track record
· Commercial acumen and be business savvy.
· You will be physically capable to occasionally lift products up to 25 kilos for installation.
