Field Service Engineer – Chromatography

An excellent opportunity for applicants with laboratory experience on Liquid and Gas Chromatography to move into a field service engineer role with a well-known company in the industry.

The role will involve maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and operational/performance qualifications of chromatography instruments from a range of manufacturers such as Agilent, Waters, Jasco, Shimadzu, PerkinElmer and Thermofisher.

It is field-based covering customer sites across the South of the UK

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, repairs, validation qualifications and redeployment of instrumentation

Provide excellent quality service and support to customers and maintain excellent customer relationships

Identify, issues, faults and provide solutions

Person Specification:

HNC/HND or Degree level in an analytical sciences subject or electronic engineering

Experience of troubleshooting chromatography instrumentation

Experience in maintenance and instrumentation support – either in an engineering or laboratory-based role

Experience working in GXP environments
