Field Service Engineer (Covering the South of England)

Full-time, hours between 8.00 – 17.00 with flexibility when required

Salary £32,000 – £35,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer to join a progressive business with their head office based in the North of England. The role will be working from home and travelling covering the South of England ensuring all servicing and callouts are attended in a timely manner and resolved as quickly as possible. The main area of coverage is the South of England, however assisting with the coverage of the rest of the UK maybe required during staff holidays etc. There will be occasional overnight stays and a monthly team meeting based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities include –

* Attend all necessary servicing and callouts when required

* Carry out on-site repairs using parts provided

* Installation of capital equipment

* Follow procedures in all areas of work including completing paperwork and reports correctly and in detail

* Ensure there is sufficient stock of spare parts. Liaise with your Manager if more required

* Ensure your vehicle and working environment is safe and tidy

* Adhere to Health & Safety policies

* Assist with any other tasks that may be required

We are looking for candidates that have –

* Ideally 3 – 4 years’ experience in a similar position

* Electrical and mechanical knowledge

* A strong work ethic and high standards

* Technically minded and able to resolve problems

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Effective time management
