Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire

Salary: Circa £30,000 – £36,000 + company van + benefits

Start Date: Immediate

Introduction:
Our client is now currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join their existing team. Ideal candidate location will be around Milton Keynes or surrounding areas. This role will involve travelling to customer sites around the UK and Ireland with occasional trips into London to cover busy periods. You will be required to carry out service, maintenance and repair tasks on the companies’ equipment. Please note that there does need to be a level of flexibility as you will be required to stay overnight during the week when training and then 1-2 nights per week once fully trained, although it doesn’t happen every week.

Field Service Engineer Applicant Requirements:

* The successful candidate must hold some sort of relevant electrical / electronic engineering qualification i.e NVQ Level 2 / Level 3 or equivalent.

* Experience of using voltmeters and built in test equipment.

* Enjoy problem solving as there is a lot of fault finding to board level.

* Knowledge of sensors, electronic controls, scanning systems, access control, alarms or security systems.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Flexible with regards to travel and overnight stays.

* Full training will be provided on the companies equipment.

Field Service Engineer Benefits:

* Circa £30,000 – £36,000 basic salary.

* Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
