Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £29,000 + OTE of circa £40,000
Our client is very successful within the industrial, offshore and wind turbine industries. They now have immediate requirements for 2 x electrically biased multi skilled Field Service Engineers to join their team. The successful candidates will be expected to spend most of their time working away from home, including overnight stays. This involves regular travel throughout the UK and internationally. Candidates living in close to or in the following areas are of particular interest: Watford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Birmingham, Loughborough, Stoke on Trent, Sheffield and Manchester.
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
* Installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
* Fault finding, repairing, testing, commissioning and inspections to be carried out on equipment accordingly.
* Conduct LOLER inspections on the companies’ products.
* Required to carry out work at heights.
Field Service Engineer Requirements:
* Proven electrical background with a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* Holds strong electrical installation and maintenance experience on large machinery.
* Experience with 3 phase electrics.
* Good electrical fault finding/troubleshooting.
* PLC experience would be beneficial.
* Flexible approach with the ability to travel at short notice and stay away from home.
* Hold a full clean drivers’ license.
Field Service Engineer Benefits:
* Basic salary is £29,000 with an OTE of £40,000.
