Field Service Engineer – Milton Keynes – Instrumentation

We have been approached by a global manufacturer of instrumentation products and services to help them in their search for Field Service Engineer based around the Milton Keynes Region.

The Position:
In this new position you will be servicing, commissioning and fault diagnostics/repair of a range of electronic and mechanical process control instrumentation.
You must be comfortable with travel as you will be driving throughout the UK, overseas and possibly offshore which could result in time away from home from time to time.
Within this position you will be commissioning, calibrating and repairing onsite instrumentation in all industries within the Company customer database and speaking with the Service Coordinators to ensure that all spares, tools and paperwork is available to enable them to carry out their duties.
There is a 24-hour technical helpline which you would be assisting with according to the rota set by the Service Coordinators

Desired Qualifications, Skills and attributes:

Ideally qualified in Electronics or Instrumentation
Problem solving and diagnostic skills
A clean driving licence
Experience as a Field Service Engineer
