Introduction…
We are looking for a multi-skilled, electrically biased, Field Service Engineer to join one of our clients who are experts in sustainable energy infrastructure and work with local authorities to implement strategies for carbon reduction.

The Field Service Engineer will assist in the planned maintenance, repair, replacement and operation of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment throughout the energy station, distribution networks, substations and client equipment located in customer premises.

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Servicing and maintaining around 900 domestic customers' Heat Interface Units
Making Daily systems checks identifying anomalies and adjusting parameters through SCADA based control systems
Assisting with optimisation of gas CHP engines and a 10MW gas Boiler
Maintaining data networks, Automatic Meter Reading Systems and Fiscal Meter Installations
Occasional travel to Surrey will be required when needed
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification such as City and Guilds/NVQ/HNC/HND etc
Competent using IT packages such as MS Word, Excel and SharePoint or equivalent programmes
Experience of electrical testing, installation and inspection
Prior experience working with reciprocating diesel engines such as Jenbacher, Deutz, Perkins, etc
