Field Service Engineer
Permanent Position Covering Gloucestershire
The Service Engineer is responsible for servicing and maintaining vehicles on customer premises, in a timely manner, whilst providing high levels of customer service at all times.
General Duties of the Service Engineer will include:
* Liaising with the Service & After Sales Manager & Service Engineers.
* Carrying out Welding jobs when required.
* Operating Pyroban Systems.
* Carrying out Service Verifications.
* Responding to breakdowns.
* Managing your customer base, providing high levels of customer service.
* Ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained consistently within your van.
* Liaising with the service team and customers to provide comprehensive product support.
* Undertaking any other duties as required.
* Maintaining the Company’s Health & Safety Policy.
The Service Engineer will have the following:
* Must be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
* Automotive experience is essential – forklift experience preferred
* Full and valid driving license.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Be able to work on own initiative.
* Able to work under pressure, to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
* Good listening and organisational skills.
* Proven ability to plan, lead and implement projects, ensuring they are delivered accurately and on time.
* Willingness to be flexible to help the Company meet challenging demands.
* Ability to pay attention to detail whilst maintaining a sense of the bigger picture.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
* Be self-motivated.
* Work effectively as a team player.
The post-holder will be required to use a PDA in order to plan/confirm jobs. They will need to be competent at using this technology as well as Internet and e-mail.
In return, the Service Engineer will receive:
* Salary up to £30k annually (Depending on experience)

* Holiday 24 days plus statutory
