Field Sales Engineer £35,000- £50,000 basic (DOE) + Bonus
Our Milton Keynes based client is looking to recruit a dynamic individual who will relish the opportunity to be a territory manager.
An ideal candidate will have a background within technical sales or is currently within an internal technical sales role and would be looking for the next step in their career.
Your primary responsibilities:-
To ensure that the annual incoming order target for the sales territory, as defined by the annual order plan, is met or exceeded.
To grow the group business in the territory defined through the development of new and existing accounts.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Sales Manager on a number of responsibilities:-
Qualifying Leads – Interpreting & managing customer requirements in a cost-effective process
Achieving personal & Company targets.
Proactively prospecting for new customers. (Aligned to Market Cultivation Plan)
Developing business opportunities by arranging meetings & making sales presentations/demonstrations/exhibitions.
Persuading customers that a product or service fits with their needs in terms of quality, performance, price, and delivery.
Using CRM to document/manage customer relationships, activities (leads, pricing, opportunities, quotes, tasks).
Understand & make use of Company support tools Miller Heiman, Market Cultivation Plan, Share of
To maximise the revenue potential from sales opportunities.
To support colleagues in other territories as and when necessary.
To maintain integrity and confidentiality in dealing with all stakeholders to the business
To perform any reasonable task as requested by management.
Although this is a field based role and the territory is vast, the requirement to see customers face to face has dramatically reduced and there is a lot of video engagement.
Desirable:-
Experience within automation
Educated within physics or an engineering competency
