Field Service Engineer – Automatic Doors

The company has been established many years and are a leading provider of automatic and commercial door systems across the UK. Offering some of the strongest and most durable products within the industry.

LOCATION: Milton Keynes

Due to rapid growth they are currently looking for a Field Service/Install Engineer covering the Milton Keynes area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to mainly service and repair the whole range of automatic doors with the occasional install.

For this role you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer with servicing and repairing automatic doors. It is preferred if you have some electrical experience or qualification.

You will be provided with:

* All power tools and access equipment required to undertake tasks

* Company mobile telephone / tablet

* Uniform & PPE

Essential Criteria

* Revolving door experience

* A full clean driving licence

* Experience in the service & maintenance of automatic doors

* Good organisational & communication skills.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* The ability to work individually and as part of a team.

* The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

* BS7036 / EN16005 registered.

* A disclosure check will be undertaken

Additional Information

* Auto door technician capable of supporting with contract to repair/maintain & install door operators for high street banking clients/Petrol Forecourts and more

* Must have BSEN16005 accreditation &/or experience of working on Automatic Doors (Swing/Slide)

* Responsible for maintaining their own Vanstock and job reporting via Tablet

* Supporting other field engineers with technical support where possible

* Salary £30-£34k dependant on experience

* 40 contracted hours per week (Apply online only)) + OT

* 33 days holiday

* Paid door to door

* Primarily working on Auto doors but training also available

* Company vehicle/fuel/tablet/phone/pension/tooling
