We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join our Facilities and HSE team based in Loudwater, Buckinghamshire
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that day to day facilities work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Management of the facilities ticketing help-desk, responding to logged requests
* Install and maintain critical electrical and mechanical business systems (subject to qualifications)
* Assist with maintenance and modifications to Buildings, Equipment or Company assets where required
* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs including:
* Maintenance of building
* Changing lights (Tubes and fittings)
* Upgrade works as required
* Gardening (Cutting grass and hedges)
* Cleaning Cars
* Inspecting/checking cars
* Cleaning up exterior of the building
* Project work as required
* Moving of equipment around site
* Furniture moves and assembly
* Small Plumbing and drainage works
* Painting and decorating
Skills and Qualifications Required
* Experience gained in a manufacturing environment or suitable apprentice qualification.
* Understanding of Facilities, Health, Safety & Environmental Legislation, statutory compliance and best practice
* Self -driven and able to monitor own performance effectively to ensure deadlines are met
* Security clearance to SC will be required
* IT literate or familiar with working on PC’s and using Microsoft software etc.
