We are now looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of engineering works across various sites in the South of England.
Managing building and other construction activities on-site, you will ensure that work is carried out efficiently, to budget and to operational programme requirements.
You will liaise with, and co-ordinate, the activities of all engineering contractors, driving engineering best practice and assisting in creating budgets for maintenance and capital projects.
Additionally, your other duties will include:
– Preparing programmes and monitoring and tracking progress of engineering activities
– Ensuring that sites are compliant with all regulations in relation to waste management
– Promoting a culture of HSEQ
– Recording waste management facility dimensions and physical characteristics
– Ensuring civil engineering is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
– Taking responsibility for the health and safety of staff, contractors and visitors on site
About You
To join us as an Engineering Project Manager, you will need:
– A proven track record in an engineering role
– Exposure to developing and implementing engineering strategies
– A proven track record of commercial forecasting and exposure to acquisitions
– A strong reputation for consistent delivery of projects on time and to budget within a demanding commercial environment
– The ability to deliver value through influence at a local level
– The ability to re-evaluate priorities, responding quickly and positively to change
– Proven success of influencing at the highest level both internally and externally
– Strong business acumen complimented by proficient financial planning capabilities
– Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and develop successful long-term relationships with local authorities and governing bodies
– To be degree educated
