Embedded Electronics Engineer

As my client embarks on a brand new project a new role has now been created for an Embedded Electronics Engineer to join their growing design team. The successful Embedded Electronics Engineer will be joining a multidisciplinary team as they design a new IoT connectivity focused device and additional products to be implemented in the sustainable and low energy industry.

The ideal engineer will be degree qualified, experienced in programming microcontrollers (PIC, ARM, Atmel etc) using embedded C and have experience or working knowledge of analogue, digital and PCB design. Experience designing IoT devices or past experience with serial interfaces (RS232, SPI, I2C, UART etc) or schematic capture is highly desirable.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary R&D team the candidate will contribute to the concept, design and development of IoT and connectivity for new products within low and zero carbon technologies. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing and on-going support of the electronic products incorporating remote connectivity technologies.

In return my client is offering a starting salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits and the chance to work in a relaxed, challenging team working on industry leading products which have a positive impact on the environment.
