Title – Electrical Testing Engineer / Site Foreman
Based in South West of England.
Job Role
Within this job role we are looking for a qualified and experienced testing engineer who was been within the industry for 15-20 years. This testing engineer will predominantly be working on commercial / industrial projects and expected to stay away from home on a semi regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
* 2391 Testing qualification required or equivalent
* Ensure that all NICEIC certificates are completed accurately.
* Undertaking all works to the highest safety standards and in line with all current regulations.
* A good time keeper
* Ensure that all required paperwork is recorded accurately including, certification time spent on site, materials used etc.
* An efficient worker who is realistic with their timings.
* To report issues or problems to line management without delay
* To recommend improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the site
* Good team player
* Fantastic customer service
* To ensure Health & Safety legislation is always adhered to.
Desired
* Qualified in electrical installation to a minimum of C&G 236 Part 1 and 2 or equivalent.
* Trained to 18th Edition electrical wiring regulations
* Experience of working alone or as part of a team.
* Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
* Experienced in working with domestic installations.
* Experience with working with tenants
* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
* Good organisational skills
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Knowledge of current legislation
* Quality management skills
* Desirable to be experienced in BS5266 Emergency lighting Systems and to have knowledge of BS5839 – Fire Alarms
