We are actively seeking an Electrical Project Manager to successfully manage a range of small works projects by the application of processes, methods, knowledge, skills and experience to deliver projects on time, within budget and meeting customer expectations.
Main Duties:
* Responsible for the project lifecycle, ensuring all projects run on time and within budget
* Outlining timescales, costs and resources needed to design and deliver an electrical operations project
* Understanding what the client or company wants to achieve
* Ensure all project requirements are captured by an accurate specification, estimating resource and timescales and quoting financially accurate
* Monitor the progress of projects against plans
* Scheduling the works, communicating and problem solving
* Managing the risks, issues and changes to projects
* Deal with all customer enquiries
* Responsible for quoting on perspective projects ensuring all costs are accurately captured and reported
* Overseeing several aspects of a project at the same time
* Line Management responsibility for Engineers and Sub Contractors
* Authority to sign off projects to £10,000 value
* Sharing regular progress reports with clients and stakeholders
* Conducts surveys on customer sites
* Source and order best priced materials, Procurement.
* Provide & Review certification

* Leadership and management
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent project management skills ensuring projects run on time and to budget and meet the expectations of the customer
* Ability to undertake effective project scheduling
* Ability to undertake risk management activities for projects
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Critical Thinking – being objective when analysing or evaluating a
project/business issue
* Ability to manage a number of different tasks
* At least 4 years’ experience of working within the same or similar role
