TXM Recruit is working on behalf of one of the UK’s leading building services and maintenance companies in looking to recruit for an electrical maintenance engineer to join their clients team looking after the VW financial service’s buildings located in Milton Keynes.
Working 8-5 and across a duel site location (2 sites in total) within 5 minutes of each other they are looking for an engineer who will be able to deliver the best service in undertaking Electrical maintenance and repair works across the site and to also represent our client in the most professional manor.
This is a permanent position, suitable for someone looking for longer term career prospects.
Salary : £36-38,000
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and complete relevant documentation.
* Carry out all reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete relevant documentation.
* Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
* Proactively reduce energy consumption on client sites.
* Adhere to all Health and Safety policies.
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Qualifications
* Qualified to City & Guilds Level III or equivalent in Electrical discipline (essential).
* Completed 17th or 18th Edition I.E.E (essential).
* Completed City & Guilds BS 2391 Level 3 Electrical Inspection & Testing (desirable).
* Good knowledge and clear understanding of Electricity at Work safe working practises and Memorandum of Guidance on the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (essential).
* Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment.
As this role will be working on a financial building it will require candidate’s to have a credit check and have a reasonable financial background.
