The client are a global manufacturer of automotive parts and products and due to significant growth are seeking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their maintenance department.

The role will suit an Electrical Engineer or an Electrical Maintenance Technician.

The company are based in the Milton Keynes area so are easily commutable from Buckingham, Luton, Northampton, Bicester, Brackley, Newport Pagnell, Aylesbury etc

Duties / Responsibilities are;

To provide maintenance support in the installation, repair, commissioning, fault finding and de-commission of plant machinery and equipment
Co-ordinate and lead planned maintenance routines and schedules for the next shift operation
Develop and refine procedures to maximise efficiency and to minimise wastage
Develop and maintain process and plant efficiency and utilisation measures to use as a tool for continuous improvement
To assist with training and upskill of operators in the safe operation of equipment
Develop and implementation of planned maintenance of jigs, fixtures and plant equipment to minimise efficiency losses
To assist the integration of new plant equipmentI am keen to see CV's from electrically biased maintenance engineers and technicians who hold the following skills/expertise;

A multi skilled electrician / engineer (electrical and mechanical) – holding an 18th edition wiring cert
PLC software programming experience for automation
Experience in inverters, motors and pumps
Experience in robotics, jigs & fixtures, laser welding and special purpose machinery
Able to provide technical support for new equipment / machinery installations
Experience in preventative maintenance and fault finding
Expertise in plastic moulding would be advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of PM module in SAP would be useful
Hold a minimum HNC, HND qualification or equivalentThe role is a days role Monday to Friday 6.45am to 3pm
