Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer who would like a management role which will allow you to lead, guide and build a team? A growing green energy business, who are the leading light within their sector have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Manager to take charge of the electrical team and hold accountability for maintaining power generation.

In this role you will be responsible for a remotely-based team of electrical engineers and technicians covering all regions of the UK. The amount of travel will be at your discretion, so you can spend the majority of time in the office/working from home if this allows the best results, or be visiting various sites if this is most effective . You will have budgetary responsibility and be able to develop operational strategies to maximise equipment uptime.

You will plan the maintenance schedules of your team on a weekly and monthly basis, and ensure that outages are prevented. You will also be involved in ensuring electrical compliance, networking with the supplier base and reviewing high voltage electrical designs prior to installation. As the technical voice on projects your role can also involve failure analysis and input into the standardising of equipment across the business.

To be suitable for this role your experience should include:
– High Voltage competence
– Prior or current experience in Authorised Person duties
– Some management or supervisory experience
– Background in or exposure to Power Generation
