Worldwide market leading multinational pneumatics, actuators, sensors, engineering company working with clients in the automotive, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, oil and gas and food processing industries are seeking an Electrical Engineer to design all aspects of new products.

This position is based n Milton Keynes.

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience), superb career and technical progression available, Bonus Scheme, Pension, PMI, 25 days holiday, Annual Bonus, Subsidised canteen, sports and social club.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer

Determining cost effective products for customer applications.

Building technical credibility and good relationships with our subsidiaries and customers.

Provide technical expertise to improve product knowledge in subsidiaries.

Reviewing requests for customised existing pneumatic products from sales to ensure specification is clear and viable.

Working with designers to create cost effective designs to meet customer’s request.

Carrying out testing of pneumatic products.

Responsible for ensuring timely completion of own projects.

Participation on larger projects with supervision from senior Engineer.

Provide technical product support to sales subsidiaries.

Visiting customers to determine technical requirements for special products.

Qualifications and Experience Required for the Electrical Engineer / Electronics Engineer:

·Electrical/Electronic Honours Graduate 2.1 or higher.

·Experience in design of industrial electronic products (ideally 2 years +).

·Experienced in Industrial Automation systems, particularly machine building using PLCs, Fieldbus, sensors and associated technology.

·Experience in writing & checking technical reports.

·Experience of working with customers and suppliers

·Ability to work as part of a multicultural team

·PC skills: MS Office

·Excellent spoken and written English.

Desirable

·Project management skills

·European language capability

·Experience with a Japanese Company

·PCB design experience.

·Experienced in using high and low level computer languages.

·Experienced in aspects of mechanical design for electronics

·Experience of pneumatics.
