Electrical Technician

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Technician to carry out maintenance on an Energy from Waste plant. Our client is a leading business within the sector with the opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician to join the team.

Working on a shift pattern (TBC)
Carrying out planned-preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems: switchgear, single phase & three phase equipment, motors, drives and instrumentation (temperature, level & flow) and control systems
Assisting with scheduled and unscheduled plant outages
Testing of SCADA systems
Completing maintenance reports on CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/Apprenticeship/NVQ etc.)
Proven experience working on an EfW site or similar process plant
Experience carrying out maintenance on Electrical, controls and instrumentation(C&I)
Working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
