Drainage Engineer – I currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Drainage Engineer to work for the UK's fastest-growing maintenance business within the retail sector. The main location for the role is Milton Keynes, but applications will also be accepted from surrounding areas such as Bedford and Northampton.

The Drainage Engineer will be working as part of the vital maintenance team, who keep these retail stores maintained and safe all year round. The starting basic salary is £25,718 plus bonus and overtime through the year, with on target earnings at around 28-30k. Other benefits include a company van. uniform, discount in store, relevant industry training, room for progression within the company & also a generous holiday package.

Duties will include the following :-

* Install, maintain and repair drainage assets within the Tesco Estate

* Undertake reactive and planned works across the Tesco Estate

* Conducting root cause analysis of Drainage issues encountered

* Highlighting opportunities to managers to complete tasks in a 'Better, Simpler or Cheaper' way

* Completing tasks and ensure they are right first time.

* Supporting managers to resolve customer issues

There are also minimum requirements for the Drainage Engineer which include a formal qualification or time-served appprenticeship, previous experience within a similar position & a full driving license for travel to various stores on the patch.
