Director – Fire Engineer

Due to expansion, they now have an excellent Director Fire Engineering position available.

As a Fire Engineer you will work with prestigious clients with some large and complex projects, ensuring delivery of consultancy services across varied sectors. You will join and lead a team of highly professional Fire Engineers who have an excellent reputation in the industry.

Being the Director-Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for a team developing fire strategies and general fire safety; this will also be a client facing role, where you will be responding to clients' needs and attending meetings.

As a Fire Engineer you will also be a point of contact for technical advice to grow and develop a team of fire engineers around you.

You will be a Fire Engineer that is not afraid to engage with your clients and manage your own projects.

What qualifications / experience is required from the Director – Fire Engineer?

·Degree / MSc in Fire Engineering or similar technical discipline i.e Mechanical Engineering / Architecture / Building Surveyor

·Chartered Engineer (CENG) or Member of Fire body such as Institute of Fire Engineers

·Minimum of 3 years' experience within Fire Engineering Consultancy

·Produce and review fire strategies.

·Manage projects from early phases of construction to completion.

·New builds and Refurb in UK and International Educational, Residential, Industrial, Commercial, Retail

·Knowledge of British Standards, UK Building Regs and Fire Codes

·Finance management

·Actively promoting services to clients

·Contributing to building and developing a team
