The Development engineer is responsible for analysing the diagnostic functionalities of OE propriety systems and tooling, and in conjunction with the brand responsible Engineer, reverse engineer these functionalities into the Bosch ESI[tronic] platform.

Key Responsibilities:

* Check of diagnostic coverage of specific vehicles in Bosch ESI[tronic].

* Collecting and analyzing diagnostic data from the vehicle.

* Reverse engineering the diagnostic functionalities of the vehicle systems.

* Specification of diagnostic data for ESI[tronic].

* Test and verification of the developed diagnostic content at the vehicle.

Specific Features:

* Orientate output to ensure end user’s experience of Bosch diagnostic equipment is positive

* From time to time, the jobholder will be required to travel within the UK and occasionally,

* attend training conducted at Bosch service headquarters in Germany.

* Working closely with the central Data Engineering team based in Germany and locally with

* Sales and Marketing teams in AA/SEU UK
