Needed: Contract Mechanical Design Engineer
Our client based in Milton Kenyes is looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer on a Contract basis for a minimum of 5 months. You will be working on various projects for a Special Purpose Machinery company, that supplies to the Logistics, Material Handling and Food Sectors
Duties as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
* Designing bespoke special purpose machinery to customer specification
* Supporting electrical, mechanical and build teams with Design Drawings
* Developing, testing and evaluating designs
* Working with Solidworks and AutoCAD Design Software
* Developing design specifications for customers
Experience required as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Design Engineer
* Solidworks or AutoCAD experience
* Experience working within a Machine Design environment
Hourly rate negotiable dependant on experience, in the region of £35/h – £45p/h
Working from home is available, but ideally we need a candidate within an hour of Milton Keynes
