Contract Controls Engineer

* Up to 6 months Contract

* £48 p/h – £50 p/h, plus travel expenses (Hotels, Fuel etc..)

Our client a leading machinery manufacturer based in Milton Keynes is looking to recruit a Controls Engineer on a Contract basis for up to 6 months. You will be working on a large project within their machine build department,

Duties as a Controls Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer:

* Designing and programming PLC Control Systems

* Working with Siemens and Allen Bradley Controls

* Working with Electrical Schematics and Technical Drawings

* Commissioning at customer sites

* Developing, testing and evaluating designs

* Working with EPLAN design and AutoCAD Electrical

* Panel Build, Installation and Commissioning

* Developing design specifications for customers

Experience required as a Controls Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Controls Engineer

* Siemens AND/OR Allen Bradley experience

* Experience working within a Machine Design environment

Hourly rate negotiable dependant on experience, in the region of £48/h – £50p/h

Working from home is available, but you must be willing to travel to customer sites when for commissioning, and be prepared to travel to the clients site in Milton Keynes if required.
